Project Details
The ProActivism project was focused on creating a web presence for the newly formed activist group. Its primary focus was in the sustainability area of food production, but extended into the energy sector, due to the close knit nature of agriculture and energy (both in consumption and production of bio-fuels and related).
The project was implemented on the WordPress platform with a custom design and content. Additionally, social profiles were created for Facebook and LinkedIn, with a YouTube channel set up and dedicated to original content from the group.
Being a not-for-profit, the organization also required a donation capability. That function was implemented utilizing PayPal and was configured to allow either one-time donations or recurring donations (monthly or yearly).
A full analytics and security package was implemented as well to track traffic on the site as well as to protect from intruders and general hacking attempts.
ProActivism is an ongoing client and participates in our site maintenance program.
